As 2023 begins, we look back on the past 12 months.
For many of us, the global events and news of these years have shown in all clarity what is really important in life: a safe home, solidarity, peace. As DEMICON team, we also look back on another very successful year for our company with a lot of gratitude, pride and joy. Because this year was all about awards, great events and a lot of know-how with which we made companies fit for their digital future! Ready for a 2022 recap? Let's go!
We jump into July 2022 and one of the most important events for us this year: the Digital Product Forum (DPF). This year's hybrid event was attended by more than 5,500 experts from the automotive industry, who exchanged ideas on topics such as Digital Development, Virtual & Augmented Reality and Data-Powered Engineering. For us, this was the perfect opportunity to once again present ourselves as an agility driver in the automotive industry. Together with Nepomuk Heimberger from collaboration Factory AG and Tobias Wittig from MBition, our colleagues Torben Schwennesen and Rico Nuguid gave two presentations about the future of the automotive industry and which solutions companies can use to maintain consistent quality at increasing speeds.
DEMICON was also present at this year's Deviniti Jira Day 2022 to share valuable know-how with other IT experts. Our colleague Bogdan Gorka, Atlassian expert and project management professional with more than 20 years of IT experience, talked about how project management can be made more effective by integrating the Atlassian tools Jira and Confluence into the SAP framework.
Success Stores and Awards
In 2022, particularly, our success stories provided many specific insights into our work. We used case studies to show how we use our services to make our customers' work more efficient, easier and ultimately more profitable. And last, but not least, we not only gave our very best for our customers, but also pushed ourselves and DEMICON to the next level.
Since the beginning of the year, we have had ISO 27001 certification for information security management. This creates not only a new level of confidence in our IT security, but also sends a strong signal to our customers and partners. As our CEO Philipp Batman says, "it has always been DEMICON's goal to continuously improve our security. The difference now is that we have an official certificate - something to be proud of indeed after an intensive assessment."
We were particularly proud of three awards we received in 2022. They were and are a great reward for our striving to always achieve the best result for our customers:
This year, we were once again voted one of the best IT service providers in Germany by brand eins and Statista. Furthermore, our partner Adaptavist honored us with its Partner Award for our success story in collaboration with Rainforest Alliance. And thirdly, we were named the best IT management consultancy by EU Business News, rewarding the high quality of consulting we offer our customers.
And of course, what should always be mentioned in the yearly DEMICON recap? The DEMICON Summer & Winter parties and the get-togethers of the whole team in the office. It's always great to see how our colleagues work excellently together in the digital world, but get along equally amazing in "real" life and drive the DEMICON vision forward together at these get-togethers in the office.
We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank our team with now almost 150 colleagues for their ambition, their creative solutions and their know-how, which they bring to DEMICON every day with 100% motivation. And of course to our partners and customers: Only because of you we at DEMICON can unfold our full potential and shape the IT world of today and especially tomorrow.
