As we say goodbye to 2021 and prepare for the next year, we want to take this opportunity to look back on the past year with all its challenges and successes, from multiple awards to our "de-branding" and the webinars we hosted.
One of the most significant milestones for our company's DNA was our de-branding and the evolution of the DEMICON brand that came with it. With a refreshed design and a sleek new website, we have created an excellent basis to push our company vision "Make people's lives easier" further with even more efficiency and, most importantly, fun. We hope you like our new design as much as we do.
Furthermore, this year was all about webinars and speaking opportunities. Our consultants shared their expert knowledge in cooperation with distinguished partners, such as Siemens and Seibert Media, at various events, like the Knowledge Management Days and Jira Day 2021. They gave exclusive tips on how companies can perfectly prepare for the digital future with the right tools and solutions.
In 2021, we also launched our Pro Bono Initiative, with which we've since offered our IT consulting to NGOs – all free of charge. In this way, we use our know-how to help social or ecological organizations with their digital transformation so that they can focus even more efficiently and purposefully on essential issues in our society.
Because we also want to contribute to a better society ourselves, DEMICON is donating to selected aid organizations this year. This time we support SOS Kinderdorf, Wünschewagen and Stelp e.V. with more than 10.000 EUR.
Finally, a big bang came (almost) at the end of the year: DEMICON was named one of the "Best IT Service Providers in Germany" by the renowned brand eins magazine and Statista. This award is an incredible validation for our team, and we are pleased about it.
