BIGPOINT is one of the largest computer games companies in Germany.
To help BIGPOINT GmbH deliver its games by moving the IT infrastructure from one of the largest public cloud providers to the Alibaba Cloud.
With Alibaba Cloud, we were able to provide our client with the technologies to migrate and containerise their independent browser and online games for the Chinese market. Our demicon experts assisted BIGPOINT in the dynamic migration from the previous cloud and on-premise environment. In addition, a well-designed framework was created and we were able to successfully containerise, restructure and reposition games in the migration process.
During the 9-month migration process, three environments for five games were created and migrated. This significantly reduced the operating costs of its cloud infrastructure.
